4. Our legal bases
Consent
We rely on consent to send marketing newsletters and product communications; place or access non-essential analytics and advertising cookies; use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel; and carry out related engagement tracking where consent is legally required. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
Steps requested by you
We process information where necessary to send a resource you requested, manage your place on a waitlist or respond to a partnership or business enquiry.
Legitimate interests
We may rely on our legitimate interests to respond to ordinary enquiries, understand and improve our services and communications, maintain records of business correspondence, and protect the website, systems and users. We only rely on legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Legal obligations
We may process information where required by law, regulation, a court order or another valid legal request.
5. Email communications
Our email communications are managed using MailerLite. MailerLite may record information such as subscription status, delivery, email opens and link clicks. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every marketing email. We may retain a limited suppression record after you unsubscribe so that we can honour your request.
6. Instagram and ManyChat
We use ManyChat to provide some Instagram automations and collect email addresses where users choose to submit them. Information collected through these interactions may be transferred through Make and added to MailerLite. Instagram and Meta also process information under their own privacy terms.
7. Contact and partnership forms
Website forms may use Make to transfer the information you submit to our email inbox or other relevant service. We use it only to respond to your enquiry and retain appropriate correspondence records. Please do not submit sensitive information about yourself or a child through these forms.
8. Analytics and advertising
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel. These services may receive information about your device, browsing activity, interactions and advertising identifiers. You can reject or change your choice through the Cookie Settings.
9. Affiliate links
Some website or newsletter links may be affiliate links. LUNCHBOX • KIDS may receive a commission if you click and later make a purchase, without increasing your price. The merchant may process information under its own policies.
10. Who we share information with
We may share information with providers including GitHub (hosting), MailerLite (email), ManyChat (Instagram automation), Make (workflow automation), Google (analytics / tag management), Meta (advertising measurement), and professional advisers or authorities where legally necessary. We do not sell or rent personal information.
11. International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the EEA. Where that happens we rely on safeguards recognised under data-protection law (adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful safeguards).
12. How long we keep information
- Active subscribers: while you remain subscribed.
- Unsubscribed contacts: a limited suppression record to honour your request.
- Waitlist information: while the waitlist / launch is active.
- Contact enquiries: up to two years after the last meaningful contact.
- Partnership enquiries: up to two years, or longer for an active agreement.
- Analytics / advertising: per the relevant cookie durations.
- Security information: as long as reasonably necessary.
13. Children's privacy
The website is intended for parents, caregivers and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, delete it.
14. Your rights
You may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal information; receive it in a portable format; object to processing based on legitimate interests; object to direct marketing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. Requests: hello@lunchbox.kids. These rights are set out principally in Articles 13–22 GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
15. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

cookie policy
Last updated: 2 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how LUNCHBOX • KIDS uses cookies and similar technologies on lunchbox.kids. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy above.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies—pixels, local storage and device identifiers—may perform related functions. In this policy, "cookies" includes these technologies where appropriate.
2. How we use cookies
Strictly necessary cookies
Required to operate essential website features, remember your cookie-consent choices, maintain security and enable requested functions. These do not require consent where they are genuinely necessary.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, analytics cookies help us understand how many people visit the site, which pages they view, how they arrived, how they interact with content and forms, and whether the site is functioning properly. We currently plan to use Google Analytics 4.
Advertising cookies
With your consent, advertising technologies may be used to measure advertising performance, understand whether an ad resulted in a visit, create or measure advertising audiences and show more relevant advertising on Meta platforms. We currently plan to use the Meta Pixel.
Tag management
We use Google Tag Manager to control and manage website scripts. Non-essential tags must not load before the appropriate consent is given.
3. Cookies we expect to use
The exact cookie inventory must be confirmed after the new website and cookie banner are live.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| lb_consent_v1 | lunchbox.kids | Remembers your cookie choices | 12 months | Necessary |

Additional cookies may be created by Google or Meta depending on browser settings, campaign activity and configuration. This table must be checked against a live scan before the policy is treated as final.
4. Consent
When you first visit the website, you will be offered a choice to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or manage your preferences. Analytics and advertising technologies remain blocked unless and until you consent. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent you from reading the website or using its core functions.
5. Changing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the Cookie Settings link. Withdrawing consent does not automatically delete cookies already stored on your device.
6. Affiliate and external links
Our website may link to retailers, affiliate partners, Instagram or other external websites. When you follow one of these links, the external provider may place cookies under its own policies.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies, block third-party cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Blocking all cookies may affect how some websites function.
8. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change website tools, tracking providers or cookie practices. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
